20 new museums in the United States Indoor Google Maps service

Google has announced the addition of 20 new museums in the United States Indoor Google Maps service. The company explained that it is a service that allows users located within the precincts, to know the attractions of each museum and even make routes.

Google is aware that should work to maintain the level of innovation and technical quality of its mapping system. Now that Apple has decided to bet on your own system that Microsoft has decided to embrace Nokia maps, Google is required to stay ahead to keep its lead over the rest. To this end, the company is continuously introducing and announcing new features for your service. These characteristics, in November 2011 the company introduced Indoor Google Maps . It is a service that offers users map information inside buildings.

This is a useful feature for large enclosures, where users may need a guide to locate special points of interest. In its release, Google announced that 10,000 have maps available and the company has worked to add new contents. The last to join this list have been completed U.S. 20 museums, among which are the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Cincinnati Museum Center and the American Museum of Natural History Smithsonian. Since Google has explained that it is a tool with great utility, able to guide users through the halls of museums, an activity that is sometimes a bit complicated. Indoor Google Maps also includes other features like the ability to plan a route or get to know the highlights of an enclosure.
