Asus Radeon HD 7950 DirectCU II: Now with the cooler DirectCU II V2

Asus is preparing a second variant of the graph Asus Radeon HD 7950 DirectuCU II , this is a version that will come equipped with the second revision of the famous sink DirectCU II from Asus. Not be the first to incorporate graphics, as the recent Asus HD 7850 DirectCU II Dragon Edition and is equipped with a review V2 sink DirectCU II.

Surely you now, many of you know the custom versions of Asus heatsink incorporating effective DirectCU II . Offering improvements compared to reference cooling system are quite remarkable, since they achieve better temperature and a really low sound level.

The V2 version sink DirectCU II Asus has a total of 6 heatpipes of 6 mm thick , whereas the previous version features 5 heatpipes . The PCB will be fully customized by Asus and in this case will include an aluminum plate to cool better power phases of the graphics card and a power supply circuit itself. Continue to include two 80 mm fans and a backplate on the back of the graph to further improve the cooling on that side of the PCB.

The Asus Radeon HD 7950 DirectCU II V2 will also come in two versions, one will come with a frequency of 800Mhz and 5000Mhz GPU effective for memory and the other variant will overclock the GPU and run at 900MHz. In both cases have 3GB GDDR5 memory interface and 348Bits.

Finally the video outputs are composed of two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. Its price is expected to be the same as the current Asus Radeon HD 7950 DirectuCU II equipped with sink V1 DirectCU II and will be in August when it reaches the market.
