Many times we have been strolling along the streets and we found several posters of shops, brands, and other many things that we have been etched in the mind, either for its style, seem too retro, or simply because you have noticed us. If we are fanatics of the posters, we now have an application that helps us to have a lot of them: Fontly.
This application helps to explore the world of typography in motion, while collects it and shares all over the world. With it we can create a collaborative file and digital’s unique examples that speak of a bygone era, and thereby preserve this valuable part of our visual heritage, such as neons, architectural, paper posters, handmade, and other typographic wonders.
To use it, first thing we do is take a picture of the sign that we have found. Then we titularemos and etiquetaremos the image within the categories we have available. Act then our photo will be automatically georeferenced and added to the page Fontly officer. Although the application not only is that, since if we like the image we share it both on Twitter, as on other social networks, and even our friends.
Fontly also offers a long list of different signs, which other users have been finding and adding. We can see you it in two different folders: the latest rises and the better. Also, we can see where in the world are these posters and if there is any our fence. Finally, we have another folder which is where our own photos will be stored.
Certainly it is a very entertaining and sure, for those who use it, from now on, not going to let a single sign without looking. Fontly is available in Google Play for free.
