Repeatedly announced by the rumor but never launched, Google Drive, a service of online storage way Dropbox would finally go ahead if we are to believe the indiscretions of TechCrunch and The Next Web . The launch could take place Tuesday or Wednesday. The service would provide 5 GB of storage for free, of course it would be possible to complete an annual fee. Remember that Google rates are very affordable: $ 0.25 / GB / year or, for example $ 5 per year for 20 GB
Google Drive will be available at drive.google.com or via dedicated applications on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, IOS and – obviously – Android. TechCrunch managed to get the Mac OS seems finalized but is currently non-functional due to lack of active service at Google. But if Google has developed applications as well as integrated Dropbox client, adding, why not editing functions directly GDocs, Dropbox and all of its competitors have to worry about.
