Sony announces Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition for September
Sony has announced the new edition of the driving simulator for PlayStation 3, Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition, next September 27 in Spain. GT5: Academy Edition is a special edition of Gran Turismo 5 that is fruit of the union of Sony Computer Entertainment and Nissan: GT Academy. The estimated price of the game will be 29.99 euros.
The special edition includes a remastered version of Gran Turismo 5 and all updates, as well as incorporating some downloadable content available from the game’s release in November 2010. The new content will be available earlier in PlayStation Store, including new cars, circuits, paints and racing teams.
The batch of Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition includes the complete package-car lot, lot of circuits, special paint batch and batch-team race, the car pack 3 and pack Circuit 2, the model also Nissan GTR race conducted at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
GT Academy has improved year after year since its inception in 2008. This competition was made possible thanks to Nissan and PlayStation to discover the talent of the riders in the virtual world of Gran Turismo. In the classification of the recent online edition of GT Academy 2012 there were over 830,000 participants from across Europe.
