party-gamesParty games are the biggest online gaming room, with traffic sometimes reaching numbers in excess of 100,000. They are the most popular, and most talked about game room on every online game forum on the internet, for many, many different reasons, some positive, some negative. With the ability to play any game at any limit of your choice at any time of day, it’s hard to go wrong with Party games.

Party games just did a major upgrade to their software. They have a very slick looking lobby, and have all your account information available on one screen, for example the balance of your Party Points. A news ticker and the current Bad Beat Jackpot is also available in the lobby, easy to see. Their software is also highly customizable, allowing you to turn on or off the characters at the table, the chip/card animations and sounds, four colour deck and various other features. Their tables are resizable, a great bonus for people wanting to multi-table but with only one monitor. Their graphics and table layout focus on the K.I.S.S. attitude, and are plain but appealing, easy to the eye. Party games also offer Blackjack and the ability to sidebet on the colour of the next flop(ie: all red cards), all instantly accessible from your table. The only negative is that their lobby can take time to refresh the games, so you’ll see a game with 8/10 players in it and join that table, only to see there are only four left.

The lobby at Party games isn’t set out like most games rooms. There are tabs to select the type of game you want to play (ring game, sit & go, tournament etc) and then you choose your game and set filters in separate boxes. It does take a bit longer to find the game you want, but you can filter these down by speed of the table, average pot size, waiting lists and other restrictions.

The software at Party games allows you to use a four color deck, as well as changing the theme of the room from the standard look, the ability to change the theme of the cards and the look of the table. It means your Party games game is almost completely customizable. You can choose your preferred seat at Party games, further emphasizing the ability to customize everything.

Party games also allow you to have your own avatar, as well as having standard avatars to choose from.

You can also choose to have Sit & Go summaries automatically e-mailed to you at the end of each tournament. There are lots of little bits and pieces to allow you to have the Party games experience that you desire.

Finally, Party games also has a stripped down browser-based application, so as long as you have Flash installed, you can play at Party games without downloading any software.
