Whims

Whims is a new service that transforms a simple phrase into something more stylish… At this point I am sure that you do not know what I mean by this, but perhaps clarify the usefulness of the service more if I tell them that their motto is “because how you say something is as important as what you’re saying”. I.e., that as important as the content is the way in which you transmit, your typography.
Whims is available for free through iTunes for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and as I have already mentioned is able to apply the typeface that best suits the message we want to convey, helping in this way to give style to what we say.
Perhaps the most obvious use of this curious service is that Tumblr users who share images with a “deep” text have a new way of doing this using a font that is not warped Helvetica…
It is really easy to use. Simply insert our sentence and began to edit it by choosing the words that we want to highlight (with colors or different fonts), the font sizes, spaced, etc…
Finally it is worth highlighting the possibility that offers the service of predesigned typographical filtering. We can find a good number of them with names as curious as Barack Obama or Bruce Wayne…
